Data centres 10 tips!
Schoonmaken.co.uk has been operating as a leading cleaning company since 1955. Over the past 20 years, we have specialised in cleaning data centres: highly critical environments where safety, precision and specialist knowledge are essential.
Our approach: robot technology and cleanroom methodology
We clean data centres using an innovative combination of specialised cleaning methods and state-of-the-art robots. Here, we apply principles from cleanroom technology, removing dust and contamination without risk to your hardware or business continuity.
What we do
- Cleaning according to cleanroom class (ISO standards).
- Deployment of specially trained data centre cleaning teams.
- Use of autonomous robots.
- Work according to agreed work schedule.
Why this is important for you
- Less risk of malfunctions: dust accumulation can lead to malfunctions.
- Consistent performance: a clean environment contributes to the reliability of your infrastructure.
- Full transparency: you will always receive a report of the work carried out.
10 tips for keeping data centres clean:
Always work dust-free: use microfibre cloths and anti-static hoovers with HEPA filter.
Never use wet cleaning in technical areas; only work slightly damp where permitted.
Focus on airflow.
Work from top to bottom to avoid re-contamination.
Clean periodically under the raised computer floor (raised floor).
Use proper cleaning equipment.
Make sure cleaners are technically trained and know what not to touch.
Measure and document substance levels for audits and quality assurance.
Perform cleaning outside peak hours to minimise risks.
Work with a data centre-specific cleaning protocol per zone (logbook with floor plans).
