Exploratory visits Inspectorate SZW from April onwards

From April, Inspectorate SZW will start making exploratory visits to companies within our sector. The inspector will contact the companies it wants to visit in advance. The inspection visit can take place either physically or online. Inspectorate SZW always indicates in advance which people they want to talk to.

The inspector checks for the Working Conditions Act. It looks at whether you, as an employer, are doing enough to prevent undesirable behaviour in the workplace. Undesirable forms of conduct include discrimination, bullying and (sexual) harassment. If you take active measures against this as an employer, you will prevent work-related stress and employee absenteeism. This is positive both for the health and productivity of employees and for you as an employer, given the cost savings.

It is important to prepare well for such an inspection.
