Contract

Unless otherwise agreed, the agreement is entered into for an indefinite period. In the case of an agreement for an indefinite period, termination can only take place after Schoonmaken.nl has performed the work for 12 months with due observance of articles 18.3. and 18.4. The notice period for both parties in the case of an agreement for an indefinite period is 3 months.
No work is carried out on these days unless it is included in the contract. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are always charged with corresponding collective agreement surcharges.

Once agreed, the quotation issued is also the contract. Contracts are not signed and by paying the first invoice you agree to our terms and conditions.

The indexation for 2026 is set at 4.6%.

We sent out newsletters on this in July, September and December 2025.

March 2026 will see the start of new collective agreement negotiations. Unions will bet on 6% wage increase.

Staff

At Schoonmaken.nl, we work with 3x 6-month (fixed-term) contracts. After the 3rd contract (fixed-term), you are eligible for permanent employment. In offering permanent employment, we look at commitment, flexibility and command of the Dutch language.
To request leave, please log in to your pocketApp.

The summer holidays are always divided into two blocks, see the newsletter for this. If you have not been on holiday for more than 4 consecutive weeks this year and you have enough leave hours, it is possible to take a maximum of 6 weeks' holiday in these blocks. Outside these 2 blocks, you can always request holidays, provided you have enough leave hours.

For your birthday, you will get 1 day of leave and we will record it as TvT. You can take this at any time or offset it with your holidays.

At Schoonmaken.co.uk, we work with the pocketApp.

For the pocketApp, you need a smartphone. In the pocketApp you will receive your payslips and holiday confirmations, you can also request leave and place orders in it.

Schoonmaken.nl has an independent confidential advisor. Contact details of the confidential advisor will be shared upon hiring and through newsletters.

Schoonmaken.nl works with various innovations that affect the three Ps. For people and the environment, we work with cleaning agents that are 100% natural or C2C. In addition, we work with the Always Clean Method which 40% uses less water.

Schoonmaken.nl has its own laundry and this is where the materials used such as mops, microfibre etc. are washed daily. Due to the solar panel system on the roof of our office, we are energy-neutral and the office/warehouse has a Label A.

Through our HappyGreener initiative, we support two charities together with our customers and try to use environmentally friendly products as much as possible.
