OSB (Ondernemersorganisatie Schoonmaak- en Bedrijfsdiensten) is changing its name. From today (Thursday 3 December), this trade association will be called Cleaning Netherlands. Piet Adema, president of Schoonmakend Nederland, explains: “Late last year and early this year, the board and management determined a new strategy. Closer to our members, putting the entire industry better on the map, being there for the entire industry and looking to the future. Then suddenly corona came around the corner. We could immediately prove our new strategy and put cleaning on the map in the Netherlands.”
The members will continue to form the basis of the ‘new’ industry organisation. They set the course, retain their member benefits and extra service, but Schoonmakend Nederland takes responsibility for the entire industry and conveys the great importance and value of cleaning and hygiene.
